The World of Downton Abbey is a book, published in December 2011, written by Jessica Fellowes with a foreword by Julian Fellowes.

The book contained numerous photos of cast and crew, as well as a handful of screen shots from various scenes throughout the first and second seasons. The descriptions in the book included background information on all the major characters, comments from the actors and actresses who play those characters and statements of what life was like in Edwardian England, the time period in which the show takes place. References to contemporary events in the show were brought up and analyzed.

The book has received overall positive reviews from readers.
