Mary Crawley and Charles Blake have dinner together and briefly join Mabel Lane Fox. She storms off after realising that Charles is trying to get her and Tony Gillingham back together, however she is none too happy in having him "tossed" back.

Simpson's-in-the-Strand is a real London restaurant and one of London's oldest traditional English restaurants, opening in 1828. Situated in the Strand, it is part of the Savoy Buildings, which also contain one of the world's most famous hotels, the Savoy.
