Rowland Thomas Baring, the 2nd Earl of Cromer and Lord Chamberlain is an officer of the Royal Household of England.

During the London season of 1923, the Lord Chamberlain announced the names of the ladies presented before King George V, his wife Mary of Teck, and their son and heir the Prince of Wales, among them Madeleine Allsopp and Rose MacClare.
