Julian Alexander Kitchener-Fellowes, Baron Fellowes of West Stafford who is mainly known as Julian Fellowes , (born 17 August, 1949) is an English actor, novelist, film director and screenwriter. He is the primary writer, co-creator and producer of the Downton Abbey series.

In 2011, Fellowes was created a life peer, and was introduced in the House of Lords, where he sits on the Conservative benches.
