The room is the first servant's bedroom we see at Downton Abbey and holds the secret of Gwen's ambitions in the months of 1912-1914. The bedroom is visited by Lady Mary upon the death of Kemal Pamuk in the dead of night. The room later became Anna and Ethel's bedroom upon Gwen's departure from the house to become a secretary.
When Anna and John Bates married it is unknown as to whom inhabited the bedroom, if anyone.
