1924

In 1924, he and Mrs Henderson donated a wireless to the Downton Cottage Hospital.

1925

Mr Henderson has bought Mallerton Hall from Sir John Darnley. This directly causes tenant farmer Mr Mason to lose his farm. He is angrily approached by Daisy Mason, Mr Mason's daughter-in-law,

Mr Henderson with his wife.

and fiercely chastises him for firing a tenant farmer that had been living on the estate for generations. Mr Henderson fires back that he had an intention to restore the farms, but he knows now to not give Mr Mason his farm back due to Daisy's outbursts.
