The Cricket Pitch, first featured in Downton Abbey in the last episode of Series Three in which the house team had won for the first time in a number of years. The Pitch was also featured in Series Five as being an ideal site for a memorial garden for Downtown's families who lost loved ones at the front. This idea was quashed both by His Lordship, Lord Grantham and by Mrs Hughes. Whilst being promoted by Mrs Wiggin the Post Mistress and Mr Carson.
