Anna Chancellor (born 27th April, 1965; Richmond, England) is an English actress who portrays the Dowager Lady Anstruther in the fifth season of Downton Abbey.
She starred in The Crown, whose cast included Matthew Goode, Ed Cooper Clarke, Julian Ovenden, Kate Phillips, and Harry Hadden-Paton; Penny Downie, Charles Edwards, and Jane Lapotaire starred in the third season.
She appeared in Grantchester, as did Peter Egan, Oliver Dimsdale, and Sarah Crowden.

- Chancellor is best known for her performance in the 1995 miniseries Pride and Prejudice, which also starred Joanna David, who portrayed Downton's Duchess of Yeovil, and Adrian Lukis, who appeared on Downton Abbey as John Darnley.
- Chancellor, Lukis, and David all guest-starred on the show Death in Paradise, in which Gary Carr had been part of the main cast. Other guest actors included James Faulkner, Samantha Bond, Rob James-Collier, James Fox, Zoe Boyle, Amy Nuttall, Kevin Doyle, Julian Ovenden, and Julian Wadham.
- Chancellor is a great granddaughter of former Prime Minister H. H. Asquith.
