downton abbey movie

since there is a movie coming out, what do you want to see in it,

for me i would want

Tom to find love again, this time someone who is not rude and disrespectful , and find a place of his own with Sybbie, close to the abbey, so that he can be close to the family but still have a place of his own, and regain his interests in politics but find a middle ground, between his old self and who he ended up becoming. maybe he could become scared of becoming a father again due to how Sybil died.

Tom and Henry's business to be a success, maybe it will be a struggle at first, but by the end they made it work, and Tom makes Mary the full agent while he moves to London but still remains close to the family.

Mary a lot nicer, she and Henry to be happy and i want them to have a little girl, while Mary handles being the sole agent.

I want Edith to continue to thrive with her newspaper and gain another child with Bertie, perhaps a little boy. a plot could be how she would handle the paper and be a wife at the same time, maybe people could question that.

Mosley to be a successful teacher and he and ms Baxter to get together.

Mr Carson to fully retire.

Thomas to stop tormenting himself and others.

Daisy to move to the farm and maybe get together with Andy. we could see how she would manage the farm.

Mrs Patmore to get together with Mr Mason.

Isobel and Merton to cut of his sons.

Violet to remain exactly the same.

Cora and Robert as loving and doting grandparents.

and i want to see more of kids and how they evolve, what their personalities would be like, i kind of hope we will see some of Sybil in Sybbie, and some of Matthew in George.

and to see the crash of 29

Sybil Crawley

I think Sybil Crawley was about the most beautiful woman on DA. She was also ahead of her time and quite intelligent. Mary and Rose were also beauties. Anyone else think so?

Sybil and Tom

I just LOVED Sybil and Tom! :) Such a great couple. A great story of forbidden love. They were so cute together. They were one of my favorite couples along with Matthew and Mary.

Jessica Brown Findlay is so beautiful

I think Jessica Brown Findlay is so beautiful. I have seen her in DA, Winter's Tale, Albatross, Victor Frankenstein, This Beautiful, Fantastic, and I just watched the first episode of Jamaica's Inn. Very good :) Sybil is my fave character and Jessica played her so well. I'm glad her legacy lived on after her death. I think she was the prettiest on DA.

Character dialects/accents

Has anyone ever created a guide to the dialects or accents of the various characters in the series? For those of us who don't know the intricacies of spoken English language variations (read Americans) it would be helpful to have the insight of one knowledgeable about this subtlety of each character's portrayal. I would expect the writers to have deliberately chosen characters from specific backgrounds for specific roles and that the dialect/accent of those characters is meant to impart information about what to expect or infer about the character's upbringing, life expectations, cultural experiences, and so forth. This would certainly go for the upstairs characters as much as the downstairs.

Miss Bunting

Was anyone else as annoyed with Miss Bunting, as I was? She was so rude and obnoxious, she claimed to love Tom, but did nothing but antagonize Robert.

Atticus Aldridge face in the last episode.

Did anyone else think that Atticus' face looked odd when he came back for the last episode? I thought his face looked a bit puffy and his skin looked blotchy.

Dowager and Tom

Does anyone know the episode where the Dowager explains the system of titles to Tom? I believe this scene is at a party of some kind.

Music from S2 E9 - Servants' Ball

Hi, I would like to know what is the music from the Servants' Ball - there is some really nice, cheerful music just after the scene with the maid affair being discovered.
Can anybody tell me the name of the song?

Can you answer this

Where did Edith suddenly get the typing skill she used in the episode where the editor walked out?

Brancaster in the Finale

In the finale episode, when Lord & Lady Grantham arrive at Brancaster Castle, they look around at it as if they had never been there before. Why? Hadn't they been there when they were invited by the Sinderby's for hunting? And hadn't Robert been there when he was young and single?

Working Age? How old is Thomas Barrow?

How old would you have to be to start working as a servant in downton times? I was looking at the info for Thomas and it says his birth date is 1896 so wouldn't that make him 14 Or 15 when he started working there in 1910? I was just wondering if that would be the minimum age back then for working as a junior footman or as another servant. And how old would Thomas have been at the beginning of the series?

Dying to find the name of the music/soundtrack in Season 6 Episode 3

Hello all! There is a particular piece of music that I am looking for; it is the one featured when Barrow and Sir. Reresby discuss the old days while looking up the staircases. Does anyone know it's name? Thank you very much!
